With about 30 years of experience, Dr V. P. Singh’s competence spans all facets of neurosurgery –- cranial, spinal and peripheral nerves. Dr. Singh has special interest in brain tumor surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, epilepsy surgery and radiosurgery. He has operated over 400 intracranial aneurysms and is actively involved in the treatment of arteriovenous malformations by radiosurgery techniques.
Dr. VP Singh is credited with starting the Gamma Knife Unit and epilepsy surgery program at New Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was Additional Professor and Unit Head of Neurosurgery. He has also worked at VIMHANS, New Delhi along with colleague and mentor Prof. A. K. Banerji. In 2007 Dr. Singh joined Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, along with Prof. Banerji. At Apollo Dr. V. P. Singh was working as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon.
