About Dr. Manish Jain
Dr Manish Jain began his professional career 1996 MBBS Graduate from PGIMS Rohtak and then did Post graduation MD (Medicine) and later specialization in Nephrology – DM (Nephrology) from Chennai. He then did Clinical Fellowship from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Initially, after DM he joined Meenakshi Medical College Kanchepuram as Assistant Professor where he established the Nephrology Department and started the Dialysis unit.
After completing Clinical Fellowship from Vancouver Canada, he joined Medanta The Medicity in 2010 where he is currently working as Director in Division of Nephrology & Renal Transplant Medicine. He has expertise in renal disorders with special interest in Renal Transplantation and Dialysis.
He has been awarded FICP by Indian College of Physicians and FISN by Indar Society of Nephrology for his outstanding work and continuing service to the Society and Community.
He has published and presented more than 50 articles in various books, journals and various conferences including Chapter on Kidney Transplantation in elderly and those with diabetes published in prestigious OXFORD Book on Renal Transplantation in Developing Countries He is Co Editor for book Case Studies in Nephrology A practical Approach. This book will be helpful for practicing Physicians for their day to day practice and this book will also benefit nephrology fellows, post graduate students who are preparing for their Nephrology Exams.
He has been DNB Nephrology teacher and Guide.
He is life member of many National and International Societies. His work, enthusiasm is exemplary. He is very active in Social Service sector and has organized free Medical Check-up camps. He has done various social programs for increasing awareness for kidney diseases and its prevention at early stage. He is regular speaker on Nephrology topics.
